GENESIS
This prestigious PM Shri kendriya vidyalaya -1 Air Force Station Tambaram, initially was one among the 20 Regimental schools started during 1964. The same Regimental schools were known as central schools before they become kendriya vidyalayas under kendriya vidyalaya sangathan. .
