The Balvatika programme is envisaged as a one-year programme before Grade 1 which is meant to prepare children with cognitive and linguistic Competencies that prerequisites for learning to read, write and develop number sense through a play-based approach. Children learn the syllabus given in a play way and activity-based method and group activity method where every children share their experiences of learning. They also learn in a fun way by self-doing activity with confidence guided by the teacher. The syllabus and the planning activities is fun based, play based and joy-based which creates an entertaining environment for indirect learning of letters, numbers and sounds connecting to the development of their cognitive skills.
